Welcome to Stockard Coffee Elementary School.  Stockard Coffee Elementary is part of the Sylvan Union School District, which consists of 10 elementary schools and 3 middle schools.  We are in our 40th year of "Growing Knowledge".

Currently we have 49 Teachers and Staff members that make our Superstar Team. Our District is proud to offer art and music to all students. Stockard Coffee is fortunate to have a wonderful children's choir comprised of 3rd through 5th graders as well as  an active Student Council, Safety Patrol and V.I.P. program. Each year we offer students the opportunity to purchase Spirit wear and a yearbook.

Our PTA is very active and offers many Family Fun Nights including Movie Nights, Math and Science Night, and Santa's Workshop to name a few. PTA has 3 fundraisers a year which allows us to purchase items that enhance our children's education including field trips, technology, supportive learning tools and more. We encourage you to join our PTA and support the events and fundraisers throughout the year
A LITTLE HISTORY LESSON...Our school is named after Stockard Coffee, one of the first settlers in the Modesto area. Mr. Coffee farmed the land growing grain.  He was one of Modesto's first Council Members and Coffee Road is named after him. He died in 1917.  Henry Coffee was one of eight children born to Stockard and Martha Coffee. Henry had a little girl named Mabel who, as the story goes, use to play in the mighty oak tree that stands today in our play yard. Mabel Road that runs along our elementary school is named for his little girl. The land was donated to the Sylvan School District and on November 10, 1975 the school was accepted for occupancy.
At Stockard Coffee we believe in working together with you to educate your child/ren to their fullest potential within a safe, supportive  environment.  , WELCOME TO STOCKARD COFFEE!
